YOUNG LIONS THAIBOXING AND FITNESS - COMPETITION TRAINING

Young Lions Thaiboxing and Fitness offers advanced training for those who decide to step it up and fight in the ring. To fight in the ring, one must commit themselves to train at least 5 times a week.                   Apart from normal Muay Thai classes and the Kickboxing Circuit, fighters must attend these fight training classes to be prepared both physically and mentally for the challenge ahead.

To fight in the ring, one must commit themselves to train at least 5 times a week. Apart from normal Muay Thai classes and the Kickboxing Circuit, fighters must attend these fight training classes to be prepared both physically and mentally for the challenge ahead.

Rav and his fight team will train you hard and make sure you are well prepared before you step in the ring. Being a Muay Thai fighter can also give you the chance to travel and fight interstate and overseas. Fighting and training in Thailand can also be organised as well as fighting in the International Federation of Muay Thai Amateur (IFMA) World Cup. Muay Thai has now been given recognition by the Australian Sports Commission, which means Muay Thai will soon be included in the Olympics.

NOTE: Fighters who compete must be prepared to commit themselves to hard training because it lessens the chances of anyone getting hurt and allows for the fighter to bounce back when they take a hard shot.

Training Requirements for Competitive Fighters

  • Roadwork
  • Skipping
  • Bagwork
  • Padwork [ with trainer ]
  • Shadowboxing
  • Sparring [ with trainer ]
