Head Trainer - Rav "Soultrain" Sidhu

Ravinder Sidhu commonly known as Rav has been doing Muay Thai for over 29 years starting back in 1992. He has trained in Thailand, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. He has done pretty much everything in the world of Muay Thai. He is an accomplished fighter having most of his fights in the capital of Muay Thai, Bangkok, he is a successful Trainer, a Gym owner, even promoted a Muay Thai event called “No Escape” back in 2006. He has done Muay Thai commentary work back in 1999 for J&A Promotions for the first ever World Titles held in Adelaide. Rav was an editorial assistant for International Kickboxer magazine for over 20 years and also now the World Muay Thai Organisation (WMO) Australian President. Rav is a registered Coach under the Kru Muay Thai Association (KMA) and World Muay Thai Organization in Thailand.

Rav is a former 3 x World Champion, recently winning the WMO Championship which he won in March 2019 at the Thai Martial Arts Festival in Bangkok. Rav has also fought at the famous Old Lumpinee Stadium on Rama 4 in Bangkok and the oldest stadium in Bangkok Rajadamnern Stadium.

Rav travels to Bangkok a few times a year for meetings for WMO as well as keeping busy fighting and training over there. He brings his club members for trips to Thailand for training and competitions. Rav has trained many fighters from a scratch to become World Champions, Intercontinental, Australian and State Champions.

Rav is also a qualified Muay Thai judge recognised by both WMO (World Muay Thai Organization) and WMC (World Muay Thai Council). Rav has even promoted a Fight Night event back in 2006 called “No Escape” where he promoted the first ever female full Thai rules fight in South Australia. He has brought some of Australia's best Muay Thai fighters to Adelaide for training seminars like John Wayne Parr, Nathan Corbett, Soren Mongkontong, Yolanda Smit and Alma Aniku.





He has trained out of some famous gyms in Thailand like Petchyindee Gym, Eminent Gym and P K Saenchai Gym. Rav has also helped train some Singaporean fighters while he was in Singapore.

Rav has received awards by a few sanctioning bodies. Both the World Muay Thai Council (WMC) and the World Kickboxing Association (WKA) presented Rav with an achievement award for his success in Muay Thai and representing Australia overseas. More recently he has been awarded a Muay Thai Contribution award from the Thai Government as well as a Muay Thai Recognition Award from Grand Master Chinawut Sirisompan the president of the World Muay Thai Organization.

Rav is the W.M.O (World Muay Thai Organisation - Bangkok based) Australian Representative (under Grand Master Chinuwat Sirisompan).Rav has also trained with some of the best Muay Thai fighters in Thailand, like Samart Payakaroon, Saenchai, Buakaw Banchamek, Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj and Somrak Kamsing.
